...Who misses the old Gold Key/Food & Fun programs? NMo better way to get to eat in all the upscale restraunts until you're about to burst.

The program started out as the Golden Key. For a flat per night rate you got hotel accomodations in a deluxe resort, park admission and three full paid for meals at ANY WDW restraunt. Breakfast, lunch and dinner (App., entree, dessert, and non-alco beverage for lunch and dinner) It was the way to go. It also covered EVERY recreation activity (fishing, boats, golf, tennis, EVERYTHING!!!) Food and fun replaced it. Covered any two meals and gave you a rec coupon per day (round of golf, hour of Water sprites, etc.) I believe they've since discontinued the bulk of the program.

They discontinued these packages when they came up with all the new packages. Discovery Magic gives you the same thing but for a lot more money. You get 2 magical wishes a day per person (which is usually used on food). They used to give Travel Agents a great deal on just a food package. But they discontinued that too.
