Am I doing something wrong?

Twice now I have tried to access photos on the Home page of the website. The photos are not actually on the webpage but a square with a red X'd box is, to click on...forgive me not knowing the term for this.

So when I click on the red box, all that happens is the website's main Intro comes on (the one created by NowInc.)

Am I doing something wrong. Thanks....

I´m not sure if what I am going to say is right, but when I click on a link to the main site, it always takes me to the intro and then the site.... so maybe wait a little bit, or click on the "skip intro" button and see what happens. :animwink:

Hi, Maria....Well, I already was on the main site home page, and what I was trying to do was see the photos referred on "Latest Updates To WDWMAGIC.com". So I click on the first selection there "June 5 - 50 photos....." and it brings me to the page where I am expecting to see photos, but instead there are 50 boxes where the photos should be....

When I clicked on an individual red-x'd box, all that happens is that the screen pops onto the main introduction page of the web site, and then seconds later it brings you back to the home page, where I started out...

SO I was just wondering why I can't access the photos which should be accessable by just clicking on the individual box, I thought.

I just did what you mentioned, and got to the pictures, I didn´t get those little boxes with a red "x" in the middle, but the pictures sure take a while to load! In fact.... they are still dloading! *sigh*

I think that means the pictures haven't been linked yet, or there might be a high band-with.

The http might be bad too...I don't know too much about computers but I think that's what it means.

Hi there, do you have a firewall (hardware or norton)? You are not seeing the images, because a setting on your firewall is preventing the images from seeing valid referrers (ie. my site thinks you are calling the images without going via www.wdwmagic.com) - that results in the red crosses.

Click on the square with the RIGHT mouse button, this should open a box with several options - one being "Show Picture". LEFT click this box and............ the picture appears (or should )

No they wont appear.

My site uses a bandwidth protector to stop people directly linking to images from other sites. Some firewalls, particularly Norton, interfere with regular web browser processes, and falsy trigger my bandwidth protector.

You can see it work for yourself, try going here

you will notice that it does not display the image, and loads the front page instead. That is vecause you did load the image from a page within wdwmagic.com

Hello...Yes, I recently installed Norton...what would I have to do so that my computer will allow the photos to be seen?

Either un-install Norton, or temporarily disable it when you visit WDWMAGIC.
