We bought the DVC after our trip in May. We had a trip booked for OKW 11/25-11/30 and were planning on attending the MVMCP. My son has been dying to go to DL, so I switch our trip to the DL Hotel. I am excited about the trip and am trying to plan it, but I do have some sense on disappointment that I am not going back to the World this year. Even though we are going in Oct 2008. My DH just thinks I am crazy. Maybe, but that's who I am.:p

I think it is great you are going to DL! Now you will have memories at both places and an excuse to vacation twice a year! :lol:

I've been itching to see the Matterhorn! It is just too far away to leave my cats and my dog! :king:

I think you'll have a great time. And, if you really get the WDW itch, you could always borrow points and make a quick weekend trip to WDW. I know someone that did that to use up her points, and she didn't even go to the parks. Just a weekend in the World to relax.

The parks in California are great.
Make sure you check out the shows. Aladdin is wonderful! And Fantasmic is a completely different experience.
The great thing about it is you can walk everywhere and to park hop you just have to cross the plaza.
You will have a wonderful time
