All star updates?

I'm one of the few that doesn't actually mind the all star resorts. I kind of like the decor in the rooms and we don't usually have resort days when we visit. I know the food courts are being/have been renovated, but do you think the hotel exterior will ever change? I think the biggest problem is movies. There's mighty ducks, Herbie the love bug, 101 dalmations, etc. Why not update it? They could essentially keep toy story because that's still pretty current. But there's so many possibilities to enhance these resorts. Some of them might just need a new paint scheme. So I guess my question is, do you think any of the all stars themes will ever change?

No. As long as the value resorts continue to maintain high occupancy levels, there is no financial incentive for Disney to change out the theme of any of the buildings.

Disney will change them when they have to and not a minute sooner. About the only hope we have for a change is some kind wear and tear problem making it less expensive to re-theme than repair.

I don't think so, as that seems to be what they have done at AoA--use the themes of the more current movies for décor.

I'm with you on the All Stars, that I actually like them. There is the feeling of something always going on, something fun always a-foot.

The general public would go crazy for a frozen themed section. But you're right, people on these boards would explode with anger and "ENOUGH WITH FROZEN"

I'm not sure how enamored the general public would be by the time a Frozen section was built. I know my niece, who was over the moon in love with anything Frozen last year, is already over it.

I think at the very least it would get more reservation requests than, say, the mighty ducks.
