Construction is going strong, and they're aiming for a 2003 opening, maybe the beginning of the year.

It is called the Pop Century. (Dont worry that is what I called for months) And it is planned to ope in spring 2003. I hope to be one of the first guests. My friend at WDW just told me they wont be taking reservations till later this year.

I actually heard that the resort might make an opening late this year (november or so).

You seem a little confused about the resort, so let me explain a little more. The resort is Called Pop Century, and has nothing at all to do with the all star resorts (except for the fact they are all value resorts). The resort is right next door to Caribbean Beach and will consist of two sides. The buildings will represent times of the 20th century (1900's-1990's).

I believe construction was delayed because of 9/11. At one point, I heard they were scratching the plans for it completely. I'm glad to see they reconsidered. I'm looking forward to staying there, since they have Lady and the Tramp (Julia and my favorite movie), Mowgli and Baloo and even Roger Rabbit.
