Hi everyone....Please could you give me your thoughts staying here for a party of three females (never stayed value before)

DW, DS, DD and I have stayed there on our last 2 trips and three times overall. We either stay value or offsite. It’s the difference in us being able to go or not.
Music is my favorite All Star. We’ve stayed in the family suite in the Calypso section and regular rooms in the Jazz and Rock sections. I liked the Calypso area best. Yes we had a larger room but I liked waking up and hearing the pool music. Really made me feel like we “on vacation”.
The food comparable to most quick service and you can walk to the other two All Stars for a few different menu items.
Gift shops are small they each have some different items.
The bus issues you hear about are mostly BS. I’ve never shared a bus to the Magic Kingdom and rarely share one to any park. Going to the parks in the mornings or coming back the resort we never share. If you return to the resort in the morning or go anywhere besides MK in the afternoon you may share. But would rather share a bus than wait for 2-3 buses like we have at Pop.
I think they are a good value and they work well for us.

Love the All-Star Music. We stayed there the last two times we went. It is very nice in my opinion. That and the All-Star Movies are very good resorts.

We stayed there about 6 years ago and thought it was very nice. We were near the Piano pool so it was quite a hike to get refreshments when swimming but in the grand scheme of things, it was nothing to complain about. The room was OK , no coffee maker in those days but quite comfortable as you really only need the room to be able to sleep and shower.

I have read that the buses can be a problem as each bus serves all 3 resorts (Movies, Music and Sports). This was not a problem for me as coming from the UK, we had a holiday package that included a car.
