That is why Disney wants 178 dollars a night for an All-star room the first weekend of June. They have to pay for the refurb.

That is insane for one tiny room with almost no amenities at all!! Do they even give you a coffee maker?

You can get a 2-bedroom suite or entire house for that. Why do people pay so much for such a teeny tiny room in garish surroundings? I know, I know...they like the bubble. But it's crazy, I tell you! Cuhraaaazy!

Do not get me wrong - I absolutely love staying on property but I am financially limited to the value resorts. My preference has always been POP but they seem to run $20 or more per night in standard room in January which is not worth it. I refuse to stay at any of the all star resorts for more than $70 pert night. I am willing to spend that amount of any chain hotel (but not much more) when i travel outside of orlando. But the prices I see for the all star with no discount ($100 or more a night is ridiculous). But you are right its the bubble of disney
