All 3.5 Billion dollars on My magic Plus going to refurbishments, and other stuff at WDW instead

I am doing my first ever budgeted Imagineer thread. This thread was inspired by view that the money spent on My magic plus should have been spent on refurbishments, new theme park additions, and replacing attractions.

I mentioned 3.5 Billion dollars spent on as a round guess since WDW1974 mentioned on one his threads that Disney is spending close to 4 billion dollars on My Magic Plus. I am sure Disney didn't spend 4 billion my magic Plus yet

There is somethings that needs to know first about this.
1.) I am not doing Wonderland despite getting a rid of Tomorrowland Speedway due all the extra costs involved would force me to get a rid of some the changes to Future World. The extra cost issues come from moving the 2 Dumbo spinners to where the Mad Tea Party Spinner was, replacing Storybook Circusland with Arendelle, getting a rid of Frozenstrom.

2.) I am not doing anything holiday related in this thread because the costs would be better going to something year around at this time.

3.) I am not touching Star Wars Land, Toy Story land, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and One Man's Dream at DHS. I am guessing Voyage of the Little Mermaid and One Man's dream is going to be demolish. I am not touching Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, Star Tours: The Adventure Continues, and Beauty and the Beast Live on stage because I think that could part of what Disney might be doing for phase 3.

4.) Don't be afraid to let me know the cost is off in terms of each thing.

I am starting this out at Animal Kingdom.

Expedition Everest would be getting its first ever refurbishment with it costing 100 Million dollars. Based on what I read recently, that attraction was forced to close down at different times due to problems with the attraction. I am guessing 100 Million dollars for fixing the attraction for whatever the issue is besides the possibility of fixing the yeti.

I am not doing anything else at AK due to priority although having another land wouldn't hurt the park after Avatar.

Sorry about the wait, but I discovered that forgot to add an expense in excel spreadsheet for this that really threw this thread over budget.

I am adding the World of Guardian of the Galaxy to DHS. I'm going Guardians of the Galaxy since there has been multiple rumors about it going including places that it doesn't belong to such as TOT overlay, replacing The Great Movie Ride, or even being considered for an attraction in Epcot.

The location I am putting this is where Star Wars Launch bay building is and the buildings behind it that the guests don't see. I am guessing Disney's isn't going to touch this area and I might as well create a land there.

The total coast is going to 400 Million dollars including my guess of 50 million dollars of extra cost for stuff like demolishing buildings. Here is other other 350 of the 400 million dollars going for that land

Costs for World of Guardians of the Galaxy
Guardians of the Galaxy Roller Coaster - 200 Million Dollars
Xandar Goods Shop exit of ride - 50 Million dollars
Boot of Jemiah Bar - 50 Million Dollars
Xandar Eatery - 50 million dollars

Boot of Jemiah Bar is based on the one seen in the Guardians of Galaxy movie.

This is final post before sometime tomorrow night with more on Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

This is the Start of me putting some of the money into the Magic Kingdom.
The start is doing a proper Space Mountain Refurbishment. I am guessing the cost would be 120 Million dollars since the track needs to replaced.

I am doing this refurbishment because it appeared like Phil Holmes took out money from the Refurbishment budget on this attraction back in 2009 when he was VP of MK and he had to approve trim brakes to be added in the attraction 2013. The fact it needed trim brakes to be added speaks volumes of the about the condition of the track.

I am replacing the Main Street Electrical Parade with the Mainstree Magical Dreamlights Parade for a cost of 80 million dollars.

Mainstreet Magical Dreamlights Parade lineup
Blue Fairy
Mickey's Dreamlights Train with Mickey, Minnie and Goofy
Peter Pan float on Captain Hook's Boat - Captain Hook ,Peter Pan and Mr. Snee
Cheshire cat with Alice
Pegasus Float
Chernabog Float
Toy Story Float with Woody, Buzz Light year, Jessie, and Slinky Dog
Float with Sulley, Mike and Boo
Crush's Current
Nemo
Aladdin Float with Genie, Aladdin, and Jasmine
Ice Palace Float with Anna and Elsa
Float with Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven
Float with Belle and Beast
Snow White
7 dwarfs
Cinderella with Fairy Godmother
Clock tower with Prince Charming
Rapunzel and Flynn at Rapunzel's tower with Floating lanterns
Dancing Dolls
Showboat with Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and the 3 little Bugs
Airship with Chip and Dale
The Moon with Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Geppetto, Pluto and Marie
The Sun with Jose Carioca, Panchito Pistoles, Lilo and Stitch

Space Mountain refurbishment isn't the only thing in terms of the changes for Tomorrowland.

Monsters Inc. Laughing Floor and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is going going away for Microbot Roller Coaster. I am guessing the Microbot Rollercoaster would 150 Million dollars. There would be an additional 10 million dollars going to replacing the People Mover track in those areas. The Microbot Rollercoaster also will be getting a San Fransokyo goods shop. The San Fransokyo goods shop would be selling Big Hero 6 merchandise and pictures of guests on the Microbot Coaster.

I know I could've used Stitch's Great Escape and the COP area for that coaster, but I didn't want move COP into Epcot for a couple reasons with starting with I not using Inventions as a COP area although COP does make sense in Future World. I also did read in the past that moving COP to Epcot wouldn't be cheap in costs either.

The final thing for the Magic Kingdom is replacing Tomorrowland Speedway with the World of Mary Poppins.
It would cost a total of 335 Million dollars to do the land.
The land has 2 attractions. The first is a Marry Poppins Carousel that is based on the movie. The 2nd is a trackless Mary Poppins movie ride. The land a shop at the exit of the ride called Mr. Banks Gift shop. It also will have a Tea/Coffee House.

I didn't put this land into Epcot because I viewed World Showcase wasn't designed for movie rides. I know Mary Poppins was a book first, but there was changes and I did read the author didn't approve Walt's Movie.

Now I am starting to show the money into Epcot beginning with Future World.
The first thing I am going to address is going to be Space Ship Earth and I guessing it would be 60 Million dollars. The money is for a new narrator and a proper ending.

Circle of Life in the Land Pavilion get replaced by Lion Guard film. It cost 60 Million dollars. That is the only thing in the Land Pavilion that actually needs to be replaced.

I am doing a change with the seas with Nemo and friends. The ride would be gone for creating an attraction called Mr. Ray's Exploration of the Sea ride. The cost is would be 90 Million Dollars. The concept of Mr. Ray's exploration of the sea is Mr. Ray on the ride with be showing guests around the sea including animals in the sea.

While I am not doing anything the film part of the Imagination Pavilion since I wasn't sure what to put in there, there is change with the ride. The ride is Figment and the Dream finder in a Mystic Manor Style ride with it costing 200 Million dollars.

Mission: Space update is 90 Million Dollars. The update is going be for stuff like updating the screens and get a new mission.

Ellen's Energy Adventure is going to be replaced by Wall*E's Energy Adventure. The cost is going to be 100 Million dollars. I doing this change due to the age of the attraction.Wall*E's Energy Adventure is a omimover dark ride featuring Wall*E, Eve, The Captain, John and Mary, 11 Show-Scenes( The Energy Adventure Begins, The Captain's Energy Plan, The Big Bang and Solar System, Prehistoric Era, The Stone Age Energy Resources, The Power of Water, Modern Day Energy Resources, Global Warming, Saving the Environment, Return to the Future and Earth 2708/Finale. The concept of the ride is board a Solar Powered time machine for a time travel adventure with Wall'E to search for energy resources to power our Planet and save the environment.

Wall*e's Energy Adventure also has a shop when you exit the ride called Energy Gift Shop and it would cost 50 Million Dollars. The Shop would have Universe of Energy merchandise and Wall*e merchandise.

Wonders of Life Pavilion would be back to being a real Pavilion instead of being a festival center.

Wonders of life gets a omnimover/rollercoaster hybrid travel "through blood vessels" attraction with the cost being 200 Million dollars. Wonder of life also gets a inside out attraction called Inside out Brian Storm and it would cost 80 million dollars. Wonders of life also would have a shop costing 50 Million dollars.

Both sides of Inventions is the final thing in the budget for the Future World Side of Epcot.

Innoventions East gets turned into the Legacy of Epcot Building with it costing 75 Million Dollars. Legacy of Epcot building is dedicated to the history of Epcot and all the changes that have been made to the park since opening day. It would have sections dedicated to each pavilion showcasing old rides, animatronics, layouts, etc as well as video ride throughs and facts.

Innoventions West gets turned into a Weather/disaster Simulator costing 150 Million dollars. The Simulator has guests experience Rain, snow, rain Tornado's, Typhoon's, and Earthquakes. It also would have a shop costing 50 Million dollars.

Welcome to the start of World Showcase.

African outpost gets replaced by Egypt Pavilion. The Pavilion costs 550 Million dollars.

The Pavilion has a replicas of the Great Pyramid and the Great Sphinx.

The eating places is a Table Service and a bakery. Egypt Pavilion also gets two shops. The first shop is called Egyptian Arts and Crafts shop. The 2nd shop is called Pharaohs Gift shop with it being located at the exit of the ride called Ride of the Pharaoh.

Ride of the Pharaoh is housed on a building that likes like the Temple of Kamak.

The storyline for the ride is that guests are invited to join an expedition to a previously unexplored tomb, being dubbed as one of the biggest discoveries in the study of ancient Egypt. Guest start their journey through torch-lit rooms filled with hieroglyphics and then into a series of chambers containing immense treasures of incalculable value. Finally guests will enter a chamber with an ornate sarcophagus in the center of the room, but it is here that things take a turn for the worst. Guests then encounter a series of unfortunate events as they attempt to race out of the tomb and escape with their lives.

This is the part of World Showcase feature adding attractions to current Countries.

The First is Morocco Pavilion getting Sinbad's Storybook Voyage with it costing 125 Million dollars. I could be wrong about the costs since the ride already was built at Tokyo Disney Sea.

The Italy Pavilion finally gets its Gondola ride and it would cost 125 Million dollars. The ride would have guests enter the attraction by first walking through a replica of ancient Roman ruins along the lines of what one would see today if walking through the Forum in Rome. Guests would then board their gondolas and travel through scenes from some of Italy’s best-known cities, including Venice, Milan, Florence, Pisa, Rome, and Naples, and encounter some of the country’s most enduring landmarks.

The Germany Pavilion gets its long waited Rhine River Cruise and it would cost 125 Million dollars.

Canada Pavilion gets a River Rapids ride. The Ride would take guests on a thrilling journey through the rapids of the Canadian Rockies, encountering native plants and wildlife, such as audio-animatronic moose, black bears, beavers, and bobcats, in addition to waterfalls, whirlpools, and geysers.

The budget is now gone after the Canadian River Rapids Ride.

The only reason I didn't touch Frozestrom and the Meet and Greet was the cost of the work the needed to be done between Magic Kingdom and the cost it take the plans of a replacement of the two Frozen attractions. My plan of the Maelstrom building was checking if I could connect it with the Meet and Greet Building for creating a e ticket Norse Mythology ride.

The things I had to cut was Peter Pan Refurbishment with it being updated to something similar to what Shanghai Disneyland's version is. I also had plans a counter service in the Canadian Pavilion. I did consider adding a Bullet Train Simulator to Japan and replacing Stitch's Great Escape with Wall*e. I didn't do Wall*e in tomorrowland to me thinking Epcot would be a spot doing an attraction due to the nature of the movie.
