Alien Encounter Possible Refurb?????

Maybe a few threads back, there was something on an Alien Encounter refurb tying in Stich? If the movie turns out to be a hit, I forsee Skippy "being suspened... indefinately" and being replaced with a Stich Audio-Animatronic. That's the only possible tie in I could think of. Anyone else?

I don't like AE; I think it's mean-spirited, and not even that scary.

BUT - I'd like it a WHOLE lot better if Skippy didn't get fried after all, and instead returned to wreak a little havoc of his own. Heh heh heh...now THAT, I might stand on line to see!

How could they incorporate Lilo and Stitch? Would they change the whole ride again, or would they just do a tie-in? I think that one of the funny back round noises they do during AE should have something to do with Skippy. Maybe they could show him flying through space?? It always bothered my little brother and sister that he was so cute but got put in to oblivion.

Any other suggestions?

I never quite understood what happened to skippy.

I was so entertained by the double entendre(sp) remarks, I didn't really care where he went.

I love how people make assumptions about how its going to take over..but none of them have any idea what the movie is about

...uh...and??

There is more of a story there (Yes...I do know..some of the people here know how I know)...and even if that WAS the whole story...how would that work as a ride? ESPECIALLY alien encounter...

I was just making conversation. I'd heard something briefly about it somewhere, and I was just recalling it. No I don't know what the movie is about. I was just putting two and two together with the two little characters. My bad... maybe I won't make conversation anymore until I find out MORE about the subject I'm talking about, before I post. no no no...I wasnt talking about YOU...hehe..sorry...I made that comment basically because there are a lof of those "I know" people out there who are so positive that a change is coming, but if they "know" so much...they would see how it wouldnt work...you were just asking for opinions on the matter..no need to appologize

NowInc. I'm sorry, I thought you had addressed that to me. :lol: Please disregard my last post. Oh, and I don't think they should change AE. Its a great ride and Skippy's awesome. Thats what WDW needs more of, original stuff, not movie tie-ins. Later!

Well, I know NOTHING about this movie, or the refurb rumor... but I think if they do anything with a tie-in it would be a random thing. How sweet would that be? Imagine walking into the teleportation room, Clench doing his "I get to meet all of you" thing, and instead of an 8-foot flying lizard, you get a 1-foot, hyperactive Stich. If this happens, I think it happening like once every 5 shows of AE would be hilarious. That way there is no telling what show you are getting.

Just an idea, I really dont know anything either way.
