Alan Horn Retiring

Alan Horn is retiring at the end of the year, per Deadline. It also says there are no plans to immediately replace his position.

Personally, I haven't been his biggest fan so I won't miss him. Still, it's pretty newsworthy IMHO.

With Horn leaving, perhaps so will the live-action remakes. Just gotta get past the ones that are already on the pipeline to be released.

I don't think they'll vanish with Horn whatsoever. Besides, I'm quite supportive of them and their work, though things in The Lion King and Mulan should've definitely been tweaked further to make them great.

But they're not going to stop with Horn gone. And even Horn said, "we can't do this with every film."
