Aladdin Ride Ideas

I have two ideas for an Aladdin ride at Disney World. Both would be based around the scene in which Aladdin escapes from the Cave of Wonders: 1) It would be a 3D ride akin to Star Tours or The Simpsons Ride in Universal Studios, or 2) It would be an epic, effects-laden roller coaster a la Revenge of the Mummy. What do you think?

(As an aside, I'm actually surprised there isn't an Aladdin-based ride already (not counting the Magic Carpets). One would think that of all the movies to lend itself to an awesome ride, Aladdin would be one of them...)

Something along the lines of you ride a carpet..eh the best way to describe it is a cross between PP, FJ, and Soarin' and its an epic dark ish thrill ride.

My question is where--FL, DHS, or AL??

Authenticity is the major reason I would say E-ticket rollercoaster. With actual props and real special effects like pyrotechnics, it really communicates the story in a way CGI and screens can't. Entering the Cave of Wonders and witnessing the riches for yourself and being able to believe you're actually there easily tops looking at it through a screen and having the fact that it's just a ride apparent no matter what.

Would love to see this at either DL or MK's Adventureland!

Was looking for something about Aladdin. The lack of Aladdin in the parks is sad. The Dumbo knockoff is silly, they need a real Aladdin ride. I was thinking it could span a big portion of the movie since the carpet is there from the cave to the end. Start with the escape from the cave, then have Genie come (can't have an Aladdin ride without Genie and Robin Williams), have a sequence for "Friend Like Me" maybe this part is in front of a 3D screen of some sort. Then you suddenly launch fast to escape the cave and into the Prince Ali sequence. Here you can fly through the streets of Agrabah and such. Next we go to A Whole New World and takes us "Over, sideways and under On a magic carpet ride" with Aladdin and Jasmine on the ride with us. Finally we get Jafar becoming super powerful and the final showdown between Aladdin and Jafar. It would probably be fairly long ride, but it could be a mix of thrill and slow parts, it would be quite the ride.
