Does anyone know if Aladdin is going down for a refurb soon? We'll be there the from 2/8 - 2/15. They have park hours and schedules out to 2/9, but Aladdin isn't listed. The last day that they have Aladdin scheduled is Mon. 1/20.

It's possible that there's a refurb, but I remember from my trips that the schedule can be wonky with entertainment until closer to the actual date. Give it a couple of weeks to fill in... then panic. ;)

It's not listed on the Entertainment schedule and people on wdwinfo are saying it's it won't be open.

Entertainment schedules for DLR aren't updated on the site until closer to the fact, so that's not a reliable indicator. The show isn't scheduled for a refurb and the cast contracts are still in place - it should be on its regular 5 day schedule throughout the off season.

I don't know who on wdwinfo is saying it's not going to be playing, but they're probably wrong.

What are you going to wdwinfo for? You got us right here! o_O

Don't freak out just yet; I swear this has happened before.

Edit: Well, maybe freak out a little... Touring Plans has it listed as a refurb, but they could be wrong.

Don't worry. I won't freak out. I knew when I booked the trip that there would be some items. I'll be disappointed that I won't be able to see the two shows I wanted to see the most, Aladdin and Billy Hill. Billy Hill is another story though.

Just curious if anything will be done to commemorate Robin Williams during the show. I know the Genie in particular does a lot of ad libbing, if anyone sees the show and catches any references.

Was wondering the exact same thing yesterday, as it was only a few weeks ago I was listening to WTTM for the Aladdin show :(

Re. R. Williams, what a crying shame, what an absolute legend in his field !!! RIP Genie :(
