Animal Kingdom Lodge !

need help .. want to know where I can find the best pictures of of AKL ..we just changed our Reservations and now are staying in a Savanah room at the AKL .. we are so excited !!!!!! really want all the info anyone can give me on AKL and any links to pictures of the rooms and all info on the Savanah rooms !!!!!!

My favorite place was on the way to my room. If you go up the elevators next to the Gift shop, go to the fourth floor. Then go right out of the elevator, and into the hallway, go down the right hallway, a while down there will be a window, on the right side, there is a pond, and there were always animals there. It was my favorite place to see the animals.

I have ate at The Boma Restaurant at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and toured the hotel but have never stayed there. It is a beautiful resort and we will stay there one day.

It has a link to a "personal" video someone made and submitted to this site (Requires realtime video to view).

It is a beautiful resort, but we are staying at the Wilderness Lodge in May, I have a few friends that have stayed there and they said it is absolutely beautiful also.

I danced around so much after we made the change I am just wore out .. I cant believe we are staying there .. of course I would still be happy at The CB :)

Personally, I've got over 50 pictures from the lodge, and that's from a very short visit (60 minutes tops). It's very photogenic, and it's a blast to explore.

Be sure to catch the Travel Channels "Great Hotels" tomorrow. They are showing a special on AKL at 2:00 Central Standard Time (I don't know what time zone you're in). Anyway, it's a 30 min. special and I'm going to watch it. Good luck. We'll be there April 21.

We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for the opening April last year. I is a fantasic place.

It truly is an attraction in itself.

We are going down again April without the kids for our tenth wedding anniversary.

We are staying in concierge this time. It should be a treat!!

Never stayed at that level before.

We have a web site with pictures from our stay last April on our old web page.

We have since changed internet providers, so I don't know if that page is still up.

I know I can get to it still but I don't know if you will be able to.

If it works, let me know, I'm a little curious myself if it is still up.

If you do get to it, it takes a while for the pictures to load, but it is worth it.

I have pictures of our room, the pool and pictures of the savanah from our room.
