AKL Villas- Will I have a terrible view?

We have booked a One BR/ Value/ Non-Savanna View Villa in the Jambo House for December 2008. I was just wondering if there's anyway to know if I'll just be looking out at a construction site from the window? Are there any specific rooms that would still be OK? And without a Savanna Room (all sold out for our time frame) is it still worth it to stay at AKL? It's myself, husband and 3 yr old DD. Thank you so much!!

I'm thinking of switching to WL Villas if it would be much nicer than AKL because of construction- but they only have a 2 BR available so it would be more $$. Thanks again!

I'm not sure what your room view would be... but I *think* the DVC value accomodations at AKL are parking lot views. Even if you don't have a direct view of the savanna from your room, there are still tons of places throughout the resort to see the animals. The hallways of the hotel have viewing windows between each "block" of rooms; there are also plenty of viewing locations off the main lobby. In addition, the hotel really is much more than just animals... it's beautifully decorated inside and is luxurious even if you don't see a single animal from your room.

My DD is currently at WDW when at AKL they had a view of the pool, then a Boardwalk view, neither of which was requested.
