AKL Restaurants

Hi Everyone!

We are staying at AKL on our up coming trip and are wondering if/how many of their restaurants we should try.

Currently we have ADRs for Boma, Sanna and Jiko but are wondering if our Dining Credits would be better "spent" on trying other restaurants around the world.

Then if we go down to 1 or 2, which ones?

IMHO, Jiko is the best restaurant in all of WDW.

We have never eaten at Sanaa but I know that most of the reviews that I have seen from other folks here have been very positive.

Sanaa has the Indian Bread Service. It's a must do. You can get it in the lounge too so you don't even need an ADR.

Boma we love the breakfast buffet, and Jiko we love as well. They are must dos for us every trip! Sanaa we have not tried yet eventhough we stay at Kidani a lot but plan to In the future.

We have done Boma dinner and Sanaa lunch twice. I know we're in the minority, but we felt Boma was kind of a waste for the $. Sanaa, on the other hand, was so wonderful we opted for a 2nd visit in the same trip. The bread service was outstanding, but really everything we tried was great. Even the kids loved their food at Sanaa.

Boma was probably my favorite meal during our last visit in April. Love, love , love it! The soups alone (I think there were 5 we could choose from) were excellent! I started with just a tablespoon of almost everything they had to offer then went back and got a slightly larger portion of the foods I liked best. Just a lovely meal. And the hostess and chef were delightful ladies. Highly recommend!

We've done breakfast and dinner. Both are great. If you do breakfast, be sure to enjoy some frunch!

I love Boma too. Its the one buffet that I actually get a spoonful of every single thing and it is all yummy.

DH and I really enjoy eating at Boma and we also try a little of it all from this incredible buffet. Our favorite ADR time is as late as we can get it. In this way, after dinner we can sit and relax with a cuppa Kenya AA while we munch on zebra domes and chat with servers. This will be our dinner ADR for our arrival day in May.
