AKL Jambo House Standard View?

This a random question but I am wondering if anyone has stayed through DVC in a Standard view room for Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo house? We will be staying there for the first two nights before we head to Beach Club for the rest of our trip and were able to get a two bedroom at Jambo house. Just wondering what type of view that could be of? We requested pool. Has anyone booked this or know what type of view is possible or where the standard two bedrooms typically are?? Thanks!:wave:

That's interesting because I read that it could also have a parking lot view??

I believe only 2 of the two bedrooms have a parking lot view.

You can check out the room finder feature on the site below. Just do a search for '2 bedroom' and check off the boxes 'dedicated' and 'lockoff', and it'll find all 2 bedrooms at Jambo House. Scan the room class column to find 'standard view' rooms. Then, check out 'balcony view' and guest comments.

We have not stayed in a 2 BR at AKL Jambo, but in December we stayed in a standard view Studio. It was the best standard view room. We were kind of in the corner and below us was a cleaning/food prep area for the savanna, but we had a distant view of the animals and the savanna. I did a fair amount of research before we left and I thought we were going to have a pool or parking lot view. Needless to say we were very pleased! Best of luck and have a wonderful trip.

We stayed in a studio, standard-view at Jambo House in Oct. 2011, and to our surprise, we had a partial savanna-view room!!! However, most standard-view rooms are of the parking lot, with the lucky ones receiving pool, or the really, really lucky ones, savanna views!

When we stayed in a 2-bedroom, standard-view at Kidani in Dec. 2010, it was a lovely view of the parking lot/bus stop. However, we really weren't in our villa that much and would go down to the observation deck to view all the animals (this area has the most variety of animals anyways, at both resorts).

Remember, all the DVC rooms are located on the 5th floor of Jambo House, unless you splurge for a concierge/club-level villa, then that's on the 6th floor (and only accessed with your room key card).

Thanks again for all the great responses! :wave: Really appreciate everyone's input and links provided. Regardless of what the view turns out to be, we are going to be in WDW and will have a great trip!!:sohappy:

We always stay at jambo in a standard view room. The four times we have stayed we got: studio overlooking pool, studio overlooking pool, studio overlooking sunset savanah and 2 br overlooking pool.

I really dont think that you ever get a parking lot view with a standard view dvc room at jambo.

At kidani, almost all of the standard view rooms are of the parking lot.
