AKL info?

Hi everyone , i am booking a room at AKL but unsure whether to choose standard or pool view? (cannot afford Savanna) Any advice please

If you booked a hotel room (vs. a DVC room), standard view overlooks the bus stop and parking lot.

I agree, pool view is nicer. And you oftentimes catch a glimpse of the savanna.

We have stayed at AKL a few times and always booked standard and were lucky enough to have a partial savannnah view - usually towards the end of hallways where the animals could be seen but from an angle.

In any event the hallways along the Savannah have places where you can sit and watch the animals.

That was true when AKL first opened. There were very few standard room. That changed. A number of standard rooms have a partial savanna view. Guests paying for savanna rooms were not happy with people pen views of the savanna
