Do they still do it this way? I had read a few months ago that they did away with the buffet and bring you a platter of the stuff that was on the buffet.. or was that just a temporary test?

It seemed like it wouldn't last.. it seems like it opens them up to wasted food.. not everyone is going to want everything that is brought to you.. where as on a buffet.. you only take what you are going to eat..

the new concept was nice in its presentation for what was brought to you, but it just didnt work. Especially for the amount of money they are charging, the little scraps of food on a wood board were not worth it. At least for the price you can go up and get what you want.
Okay, wait - so no food is brought to the table correct? Argh... the family style method is so much better for families with small children.

the main entree is still brought to your table, the rest is on the buffet....breakfast however may be different Im not sure how breakfast works someone else can elaborate.

On several occasions we've asked to try a third dish- usually splitting it since the portions are generous. We had one waiter who brought us samples of a couple of dishes after we finished, and one of the chef staff came out to chat when we complimented the dishes and asked about seasoning. And, that brown cheese is the best!
