AK question

I feel really dumb asking this question but DH brought it up when I mentioned that we could upgrade to AK for a small amount more. He said he didnt want to stay in a hotel with wild animals around it because it would stink like animals and animal droppings. Im sure that this is not the case...but the pic I had of AK showed a girraffe walking (and it appeared to be close to the building) Could someone who has been there please explain this to me so I can pass it along to him. TIA!

The AKL is a wonderful resort, and does not smell like animals at all. We stayed on our honeymoon, and we could not have enjoyed it more. The animals roam freely about the savannahs, and you can watch them from the privacy of your own room, or from any one of dozens of indoor and outdoor guest viewing areas.

You will not regret making the decision to stay at there. Any more specific questions?

Thanks!! I was sure that it didnt smell bad there, just wanted to verify before I told dh absolutely :animwink: That one worry was his biggest thing against staying there.
