AK meal plan

Does anyone know if they still have the meal plan at Animal Kingdom? I read on wdwig.com that they were testing a new meal plan but they didn't mention the dates. It sounded like a great deal but there was no information
on where to purchase such a plan or even if they still offer it. I will be in WDW Nov. 3-9. Thanks in advance.

I've used it before, but I didn't like it. It restricts what you eat.

I would suggest just buying your meals a-la-carte.

Disney makes more money off of you when you buy those plans than when you just buy your meal!

It really depends on what you like to eat. We saved a few bucks each when we tried the meal plan, and we just got what we always get at Animal Kingdom. We just came back from Disney and they still had it, but we forgot to ask about it and didn't see it advertised until after we'd gotten our meals. We ended up spending more that day on food and drinks at Animal Kingdom than we did when we used the meal plan. I'd suggest going to guest services and asking about it, then look over the restaurants before you buy to make sure it covers what you want.

We liked the plan. You got an entree (I had Salmon which was very good) a drink with your meal, then vouchers for one drink and one snack (like an ice cream bar). It was $10-11 and without the plan it would have been about $3 more. So you don't save a ton, but if you're going to be there long enough that you want a snack later, then it's pretty good.
