AK Lodge question

Hey, my family is staying at the AK lodge in July. I've never seen it since the last trip I had was before it was built. I was wondering if the pools are set up like Port Orleans. Do you have multiple little pools or is there only one large pool? Is the actual hotel set up in one big building, like the Contemporary, or is it little hotel buildings, like Port Orleans. As you can tell, I'm only familiar with Port Orleans, cause it's the only Disney resort I've ever stayed in. :lol: :animwink:

hey...we stayed at AKL last summer...

the hotel only had one pool...with a slow slide...it's quite large...and features the zero-depth entry....its themed well...

I believe you'll be happy there....its a great resort...big...but great...

It's all one building, kind of U shaped. Almost all the rooms have views of the Savannah. I think they're are 3-4 separate Savannah areas. Try to get a room somewhat close to the lobby. We had a room almost all the way at the end and it felt like it took forever to get back to the room each night.

There is only one big pool with a whirlpool/spa on the side. I think they're might be a small kids pool. It's also "zero-entry" which is nice. They have a water slide also.
