Can anyone tell me if Orlando Herndon is the main airport or the one out near Sanford. Thanking someone

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is Orlando´s main airport. It´s cool too! Ultramodern, huge with monorails to shuttle you from gate to baggage claim and what I love the most, lots of shops !

Its MCO(airport Code) MCO= MCconnel , a orlando military general. The airport is 20 miles away from Disney and Orlando Sanford General Airport is 60 miles aya from Disney.

Its the executive airport ORL its on Herndon Avenue 3 miles from downtown in Orlando.

Orlando International is my favorite airport because it is really nice and modern. It also helps that it is the airport I fly to when I go to WDW.

MCO actually stands for McCoy as the airport is located where McCoy Air Force Base used to be. McCoy Air Force Base was named after Colonel Michael N. W. McCoy, the base commander (when it was called Pinecastle Air Force Base) who lost his life at the base in a jet crash during a military competition in November 1957.
