We plan on driving for our trip in Dec. 2010 but I haven't given up on flying either so I plan on checking for airfare often. What other sites are there besides Travelocity and Priceline for cheap flights? We'd be flying from Mpls. if that helps.

Thanks!

You can try kayak.com, that one will compare some of the bigger sites for airfare.

Keep in mind some discount carriers, like Southwest Airlines, are only accessible through their own websites, and won't show up on the big third party websites like Travelocity, etc.

Hope you can find a good flight at a great price!

Check the all the discount companies in your area as they are usually not linked to travel sites....

-- Airtran.com
-- Southwest.com
-- Jet Blue.com

We booked 1 ways 3 weeks apart through Airtran for $62.

Also, don't be afraid to book 1 ways with different airlines. The prices change all the time.

Before you book through Expedia, Priceline, or any other place, check the airline it is on. I've actually found the same flight a little cheaper for Delta and United, just by going straight to their web site. Good Luck!
