Ahhh, was just reminising on my morning walk.......

On my daily walk was just thinking back about some Disney "Past" that I truly miss.
Really miss the Sky Ride over Magic Kingdom. That was so relaxing and fun.
Really miss River Country, the most relaxing, well themed water park I've been to.
Really miss the old " Hercules" Ice cream bars( anyone remember those?) Vanilla ice cream wrapped by delicious carmel with chocolate cover.
Really miss the 'Odysee Restaurant" in Epcot where you could stop by and have lunch and watch a stage show put on by charecters..." Clap Your Hands..Theres a Party Going on"....
Really miss The original " Figment" attraction
Really Really miss "Spectro Magic"...come back!!
Really miss "New Years" Eve at Pleasure Island

I remember different things - but try to avoid reminiscing too much about what is gone. I hope that what replaced it is something I can embrace and enjoy just as much. Sometimes, this is true....and other times, not so much....

One thing I miss is Dreamfinder along with Figment. The new creation just doesn't cut it. And judging by the lack of attendance at the pavilion, I am in good company.

I miss Space Mountain and the starport tunnel. I miss the Electrical Parade. I miss the Hippy Dippy Pool at Pop Century. I miss SSE and I miss nightly fireworks.

Oh, I long for the days of a $3.50 General Admission. Buying ticket books for the attractions I wanted to ride. Attractions such as:
If You Had Wings!
Magic Journeys (The floating ring was awesome)
Magic Carpet 'Round The World
20,000 Leagues
Davy Crocket Canoes
Oh, the memories!

I could totally fit in half an afternoon on Discovery Island again.

And the other half at River Country. Something special about that ol' water hole, they got the atmosphere just right. And the tube ride is the best water ride ever!
