After Trip Blues

I hate coming back from trips. I feel so disoriented. I mean... it takes me so little time to get accustomed to wherever I am at. I love the theme park feel...and to come home and face college and work...I just hate it. I went to Universal Orlando this weekend and I had a blast. I am already planning my next trip and for sure it will include Disney. Does anyone else get these I don’t wanna be home cause I had so much fun and my life at home is boring blues?!?! lol:hammer:

Definately! I remember the time I got home from my first trip,I sat on the floor of my bedroom and sobbed my heart out because I just wanted to be back there (I was 25 years old LOL)

i don't cry....but sometimes i feel i have to. I also hate when the trip goes by so fast....especially if you have been looking forward to it for a long time. The days fly by and you wonder were all the time went.:hammer:

I absolutely know what you mean! I feel that way after my vacations... I always thought there must be some gypsy blood in me... I was away for a week in Feb. and it took me almost 2 weeks to get back to feeling myself again...

Fossil, with you living so close I'm surprised that you get withdrawel symptoms - you can "pop up" virtually any weekend you want.
For us Brits its a mammoth trip ($$) - I'm now in deep depression and the only thing that keeps me going at present is getting the photos ready for putting into the albums. :)

yeah...i do live pretty close (3 1/2 - 4 hours trip), but just that fact that you were there and now you are at home pondering about your next trip, makes no difference how close you are. i barely go cause i have to go to school and i also work. money is not an issue, time is. Now, if you live the UK i understand the agony you must go through. :hammer:

i always get so crabby when i get home from wdw... people generally avoid me during that time.. it usually takes me a few weeks to get over the fact that i have to work for a living and can't just live and breath disney 24x7.

If I lived in Florida, I would either go every week-end or simply find a job there so I would never have to leave.
