Family. I just wanted to see how people felt. Folks who vote - take this VERY seriously and THRUTHFULLY. Think about what you're about to vote for.

Great input!! Thanks, keep em coming! Here's a best way to identify:

1) FAMILY

- You express so much joy on the attraction, that you're in love with almost every show element as if they are a part of you
- When it closes, you suffer a tremendous loss. You may be depressed, and sometimes be slightly interested to hear about its replacement, but still feel very badly and sincerely for the original that it makes you uneasy
- You get very homesick for the attraction when you're not at the park for a while
- You try to visit it more than once on a trip
- You day-dream about the attraction many times a day
- Nothing will ever replace this attraction. It has a true and special place in your heart beyond words.

2) ENJOYMENT/GREAT PALS
- You enjoy the attraction and it is great fun.
- When it closes, you'll miss it. But you'll sure look forward to a new one.
- You may miss the attraction while you're gone, but you're able to live without it for a while
- You may visit it more than once because it's fun and you like it
- You don't day dream about the attraction, but you think of it often

3) ENTERTAINMENT/NOT EXCESS AFFECTION
- You love to ride it because it's good fun, but you don't love it like it was a person.
- You'll say goodbye when it closes to welcome in a new attraction
- You won't obsess over this attraction when you're away
- You can visit more than once if you really like it, but that's because it's fun
- You don't think of the attraction in excess. You just have fun riding it, and think of it when you're planning your next trip.

4) GET ON AND OFF
- You like the ride because it's entertaining, but there's no reason to love it.
- You really don't care if it gets replaced. As long as the next one is still entertaining to you, forget about what replaced it.
- There is no reason to think of an attraction
- You can visit it more than once, but you really can just get off and ride it on your next trip
- There's no reason to think of attractions in normal living. You'll just enjoy it when you're there.

I'm in between the first and second option. It really depends on the ride. Certain rides, I honestly have forgotten what they're like because it's been so long since I've ridden them. Others I cry if they're closed when I visit for rehab!

Sorry if my first post sounded a little sarcastic, it really wasn't intended to be! :hammer: However, I'd say I'm actually under the "Enjoyment/Great Pals" category, but I show some signs of the "Family" category.

Oh, no quite alright!! :D

Well, I am Mad that I cannot visit my family at CoP, but the Pirates are just friends of mine. Then again Splash Mountain has all my best friends, and I feel like Hook recognizes me every time I visit, even though he surely doesn't. Still I have fearful childhood memories every time the wicked queen turns around in Snow White's Scary Adventure, and I love to visit my Bear Relatives. I'm stuck in one and two as well. I love the Small World Kids on a totally different level.

The Carousel Family has been talking about you, spider-man!! They want you to visit! The way Freckles (the cat) waived her tail in the finale seemed to signal you! Grandpa and Grandma are doing AOK. But I am afraid they're not with us anymore...

Actually, they're enjoying a great retirement center when they're away from the performance. Patricia is doing great (I may asker her out); Jim's fine also. Mom and Dad as well. Rover got a new bow, a red one, and is enjoying it very much - actually, I think his new one is gold.

Meanwhile, my family of bears has been doing great! I am "one of them."

Ah...the power of Disney.

(I voted for spot 1, of course. Disney attractions is my passion.)

Yes, those of you who are with me, it does scare people. Great work for Halloween. :D

After going to Disney for so many years there are attractions that seem to be part of my family. We have had good times and made memories on so many attractions that it just seems like they are a special part of our family.

Well I would have to put it this way. I was upset when they removed some of my favorites like Horizions and Toad, and they closed CoP and made it seasonal:hammer: I think what gets me most is what they did to PotC and the changes they did to make a classic ride more PC from the reality of what real pirates did. Changing reality as not to offend anyone.

I suppose I have a special "connection" with them that I don't have with other theme park attractions, but I would go as far as saying they are "family".

I enjoyed the attractions, but I don't feel they're a part of me. I go there to ride them and enjoy myself, but I wouldn't obsess over them or chain myself to any of the ride entrances if they closed them.
