Advice! PENDING!?!?

Hello! :)
I need advice/information to calm my nerves!! I am very passionate about the Walt Disney World Company, and I desire to work there when I am finished with school. I participated on the 2012 Spring Advantage DCP; however, I had to leave early due to medical reasons :( ...I was raped a month before moving to FL for my DCP and I stuck it out went to counselor through health services, but in June I needed my family. I was struggling with so much so I packed up and went home......One particular manager was aware of my situation he instructed me to health services counselling, gave me his shoulder to cry on, and helped me when I knew I need to be with family. He told me he put my reason for leaving as MEDICAL.....So with that said I applied for the Spring Advantage 2014 DCP and cannot be more excited! I'm over that tough spot in my life and am ecstatic about continuing my Disney Cast experience. BUT....I received the dreaded PENDING :arghh: I'M SO NERVOUS/ANXIOUS!!! My interview went awesome! The interviewer was great, and she seemed very confident in me. We shared laughs and talked like old friends. I think what is holding me up is my preivous DCP...I'm pretty sure I will be a restricted rehire, but what does that mean? Will I still have my chance to work for Disney? If pended is it to fill out paper work? or is it not sure if we should let you come back?? Any advice/words of wisdom. I cannot focus on anything! I check my email and dashboard literally every 5 to 10 minutes and am stressing out sooooo badly. I don't want that horrible life experience to ruin such a wonderful opportunity!!!

Did you explain the situation to your interviewer? I hear pending isn't always so bad! A lot of times they're just deciding where the best place is to put you.I had my interview yesterday and every time my email beeps I have a minor heart attack. Good luck with everything!

I didn't go way into detail because I didn't want to seem unprofessional, but I did make it clear my manager was aware of my medical problems and directed me to health services and lalalala lol...so I didn't mention that it was that drastic of an issue trying to cope with such a big life tragedy, but I made it clear that I was "happy and healthy and ready to make magic at WDW" as I put it to her lol, but I COMPLETELY understand the mini heart attack with every email that has been me since my interview! Good luck to you! Maybe we'll see each other there! ;)

Hi! Did your interviewer mention to you that were a restricted rehire during your interview? I had my interview today and I assumed I had a restricted rehire status (attendance reprimands) from my last college program, but she didn't mention anything during the interview. Everywhere I have read said that they mention it in the interview but maybe they changed their policy? If anyone knows, let us know!! Not knowing is killing me!! I hope you get in!!

No, they didn't mention that I was in my interview, but having left early I know I will be. However, my interviewer did say that they would check my status and with me keeping management informed etc, etc I should be okay. But I totally understand! I'm so stressed about not knowing! And best wishes for you as well!
