A friend is going to Orlando in Dec and planning 2 Disney days. She wanted my opinion on which park to visit after Magic Kingdom? They were thinking Epcot or HS, but I might suggest AK with little ones. Thoughts?

I'd advise them to go where they wanted to go, but if they were really determined about wanting my opinion and it had to be Disney, I'd go with Epcot. :)

One day isn't really enough to appreciate all that MK has to offer. That being said, I'd go with AK. Kids love the safari, bird show, Rafiki's Planet Watch, etc..

I read in the Unofficial Guide that MK not be your first park. After that, almost all other parks, especially Epcot will be a letdown. I'd say go with AK first (for the animals, etc.) then end with MK.

They have been before, but the youngest son doesn't remember it. They are leaning MK, HS to get the Osbourne lights in. Thanks for all the ideas!

I'd spend the most time at MK, with a second day/partial day at: (1) Epcot (Future World almost exclusively) if the kids are into Nemo, like outer space, get a kick out of interactive exhibits a la Innoventions, and enjoy science; (2) Animal Kingdom if they don't have a good zoo in their home area, love animals, aren't easily frightened and are comfortable with the fact that the park closes earlier; or (3) Hollywood Studios, if they are nuts about Disney, Jr., Star Wars, Muppets and Toy Story, have the patience for stage shows, and would rather watch them than do a lot of "moving attractions."
