We are off to Southern California for a vacation in early August, and plan to spend at least 10 days seeing the sites. We would like to find a nice, moderately priced beachy hotel within easy driving distance of Disneyland, where we plan to spend three fun-packed days. I have stayed, in the past, in the cheap motels across the street from the park, but we're looking for a different experience. Any suggestions from natives or frequent vacationers?
