Well everyone, thanks again for your advice on PO-R. But as I mentioned in my riverside thread, My father and I are taking my mother down to WDW for her birthday next weekend! We are checking in on Thursday night (really late), her birthday is on Saturday the 24th. Any suggestions on things to do for her birthday?

I know what I did for people when I was a CM....but looking for other suggestions. I really hope someone there takes the initiative to make some magic for my mother. Shes had some tough times recently...and really needs a break from things.

I bought her and my father tickets to see La Nouba that night..so shes looking forward to that. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I think no matter what age, the birthday recipient should be wearing a Birthday Cake hat that can be purchased at all theme parks, about 20 bucks. It's jsut so fun wearing it, and you really do feel special b/c you stand out, and everyone, CMs and park goers alike, go out fo their way and wish you a happy birthday. I loved having strangers approach me and jsut be so nice. It's soimething simple, yes, and relativley cheap, but def reccomended. And don't forget to pick up a free bday pin at Guest relations and to have a special phone call made from Goofy at the turnstile to each theme park!:king:

Hope I was of some assistance. Def. go for the hat!

OoooooOOOHHHHhh!!! Take her to La Nouba like you mentioned.. that show was fantastic!! It definately should not be missed and my entire family agreed it was worth every single penny. I would highly recommend that.

Or take her to one of the resort's best restaruant's (GF's Victoria and Albert's, AKL's Jiko's.. etc)
