I read the recent MousePlanet news article about the new Golden Horseshoe interactive experience at Disneyland.

It got me to thinking... Disney has had half-scripted / half-improv entertainment with guest interaction like this before... at the Adventure's Club. Can anyone think of any other examples like this other than Adventurers Club? I can't.
It worked well at Adventurers Club for decades, so it sounds like a promising addition to Disneyland and, hopefully before long, the Magic Kingdom. I guess it all depends on how much they can sell in merchandise and off the "secret menu". I guess their experiment with a shorter Golden Horseshoe Revue show didn't bring in enough revenue -- hopefully this works because it sounds a lot better than the saloon being lifeless.
Marilyn Magness (the original Dolly Drew) hinted in her Mouse Clubhouse interview back in 2010 that they were looking at ways to bring entertainment back to the Diamond Horseshoe at the Magic Kingdom in a way that ties entertainment, merchandise and food together. My hope is that they are testing it on the west coast and will come to offer it at WDW.
