Does having a FastPass+ get you access to premium seating locations for Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, and/or Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular? I have found conflicting information with some sites and blogs stating that having a FastPass+ merely guarantees you a seat to the show and others saying that it gives you access to better seating locations. I know using a FastPass+ for a show may not be the best use but it is really our only option for at least one Tier 2 because my son is too small to ride Tower of Terror or Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. We should be there plenty early for the shows anyway but I am just trying to figure out if having a FastPass+ will get us access to better seating areas.

Yes they do offer guaranteed seating. In all of DHS shows (except Disney Jr. Live on Stage which doesn't have seats), FP+ guests are rushed into the theater and are allowed to have a seat on the left side. You also have to be 20 minutes before the show start to catch your window. Shows almost never require a Fastpass reservation but if there is nothing else you can book, Frozen Sing-Along and Beauty and the Beast are the best choices. Also check if your son meets the height requirement for Star Tours. If he does, drop the reservation for Beauty and the Beast and book Star Tours.

I don't think using FP on those shows is of much value. Arriving early will get you just as much a good seat for those shows. Save your FP for other attractions, or at least don't use your first three on the shows. If they come up on a fourth or later FP while in the park, sure, use it if you want.

We had FP+ for the Frozen show on our last trip. All they did was let the FP line in first before the stand by line. We could sit anywhere. We felt it was a waste of a FP as there were still plenty of seats available and we had to sit and wait way too long with our kids before the show started. On a previous trip we also had a FP for this show and arrived maybe 5 minutes before show time. We were told our FPs were no longer valid but there were still seats so we could go anywhere. Unless you will be there during a super busy time or you 100% want to see a particular show at a particular time, FPs for shows are typically not needed.

Thanks for the info! We have a FP for Star Tours as our first Tier 2 and am just trying to choose what to use our second Tier 2 FP on because my son is too short for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and my wife doesn't think he is ready for Tower of Terror yet. I just read on another forum that a FP only gets your early access in a different entrance to the Indiana Jones and Frozen shows. It said though that there is a reserved seating section for FP at the Beauty and the Beast show. Can anyone confirm that there is a reserved seating area at the Beauty and the Beast show?
