Advance Screening!

I just got a call today from a friend of mine who works in the coporate offices of a local grocery store. He asked if I was free tonight to go see an advance screening of Episode II attack of the Clones. I told him yes(like I would have turned that down!). It turns out the General Mills (the cereal company) is hosting a screening in Buffalo at 7:30pm. I cant wait! Its like Christmas morning!

Ok first of all my rating.

4 out of 5 stars.

Great movie. This is the one we have been waiting for kids. AOTC ties everything in with the other 4 movies. There are numerous references to the orignal trilogy. Some of Obi-wans lines were a bit annoying. Yodas fight scene more than makes up for it. And best of all Jar-Jar has a limited (but important) role. All in all a great movie.

How it ranks with the rest of the movies (in my opinion):

1. Empire Strikes Back
2. Attack of the Clones
3. A New Hope (Star Wars)
4. The Phantom Menance
5. Return of the Jedi

If you are a Star Wars fan go out and see it. If you are a casual or first timer I strongly suggest you view the 4 prior movies to know waht is exactly happening. But its not required.

wow..you are more forgiving than I am..i found obi-wans lines REALLY killed the mood of the movie..all the eyecandy in the world (meaning yodas fight scene) couldnt recover its blatant "sell out" factor.

I dunno...it wasnt a BAD movie..but really not worth all this hype.
