ADR's without room res?

I guess I don't understand how this works...can u book ADR's without having anything booked? I always thought that 180 day mark was from check in...meaning you are ACTUALLY BOOKED...but yesterday I was playing around on MDE and looked for a BOG res around my daughter's birthday in January and it let me book it with a confirmation # and all. So is that my answer, that YES you can lol??

Anyone can book ADRs at 180 days out. The benefit of the resort reservation is you can make ADRs for up to 10 days of your trip starting at 180 days from check in.
