ADR question

How early or late can you show up for an ADR?
I have 1:40 for 50's, but it is our first day and we are on CST.
Our plane lands at 10:30 am and we are staying at the Boardwalk Villas.
I was hoping to be at HS by 1:00.
It would be nice to eat a lunch around 1:00.
I know we will be starving by then.
But I was lucky to get the 1:40 ADR.
In the past we always showed up 10-15 minutes early, is it crazy to show up 30-40 minutes early?

Bonus trip, 4 Parks in 3 days! Let's do this!

It depends on how busy the restaurant is when you try to walk up. We showed up about 45 minutes early at Sci-Fi and they told us to come back about 10 minutes before because we probably wouldn't be seated until after our reservation time anyway. We also showed up 30-60 minutes early at other locations, like Rose & Crown and Cape May, and were taken right away.

It doesn't hurt to ask, but be prepared to wait!

This is very accurate. We've showed up 20 minutes early to Sci Fi and 50's and waited until our actual time. We showed up almost 2 hours early to Kouzzina and were seated immediately.

We've never been more than 5 minutes late for an ADR but I wouldn't push it too much on that end.

I showed up 1 1/2 hours early to our 50s reservation in May. They told us they wouldnt be able to seat us early but we decided to just hang out at the bar. They ended up calling us about 10 minutes later.

We showed up about an hour early on Valentine's Day night for our dinner at San Angel...I expected to wait the full hour, but we were seated right away...Looks like most people had the same luck...hopefully you will too;)
