ADR Help!!??

ShookieJones

We need time for things to happen.
Please forgive me because I know this has been discussed at length, but I can't seem to find this info anywhere (Am I the only one who has an issue with the search function around here?:brick:)

That being said:
My ADR question(s) is this: I am just about at the 180 day mark, but I understand the ADR system is in flux, I know there was talk of an online system, and the amount of days you can book in advance has been reduced etc?

So I believe I am at the 180 point tomorrow or the next day, can I make ADRs or not, and if so what mediums are available for me to do so??

Thanks for your help, and I again I am sorry because I know this has been discussed, I am sure if someone can't answer me directly they'll link me up with the original thread ;)

I believe that right now you can make ADR's for dates up to March 22nd. The CM I spoke with said they are reworking the computer system- :)
Good Luck!

I think the upgrade to the system is finished so you will be able to make the 180 day reservations again.

Here is the information from allears-net

DO I NEED ADVANCE RESERVATIONS?
At one time you only needed reservations for busy/ peak seasons, that is no longer true. With the Disney Dining Plan, it has become very difficult to get walk up or even same day reservations at the majority of the restaurants (especially in the theme parks).
IMPORTANT UPDATE: An upgrade to Disney's Dining Reservation System began July 21, 2008. As the application upgrade occurs, the latest reservation date guests will be able to secure is January 25, 2009. This means that in some cases you may not be able to book as far in advance as usual. (Note that reservation booking windows for Victoria & Albert's, Chef Mickey's and Cinderella's Royal Table will not be affected by this system upgrade.) Beginning October 24, 2008, the current system will be replaced by an improved system for dining, recreation and tour bookings. With the launch of the new booking system, reservations for dining, recreation, and tours will be made during one single transaction. Once the upgrade is completed the booking window will expand back to the normal 180 days.

For most restaurants, Walt Disney World offers Advance Reservations. You are told to check in at the restaurant's podium at least 5-10 minutes prior to your seating time, and will receive the next available table for your party size. To find out more about Advance Reservations, read the FAQ. Make your Advance Reservations for Disney restaurants by calling 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463) 180 days in advance. Disney's Central Reservation Office, or CRO (407-W-DISNEY), can also make your Advance Reservations, as can Lobby Concierge at your Disney hotel. Phone lines open at 7 a.m. Eastern time. (Swan and Dolphin Restaurant reservations can also be made through WDW's Dining number at 407-WDW-DINE.)

Yes, but the 10/24 date has been pushed out. There has been issues getting the new system online.

For the OP. Just call today and ask. They will let you know currently when you can book.

Also remember you can begin booking you ADR's at 180 days out from your check-in date and if you are staying on property you can then book out to 150 days.

Right now you can book up to 3/22. You can book Chef Mickey's, CRT, and V&A's up to 6/19.

I believe the next expansion won't be until late December.
