When can I book my dining reservation

Ok, I know you can book all your dining for your entire trip starting on the date of your first day visited. So it allows you to go past the maximum days in advance and still get reservations at places to eat even though you'd normally be a few days away from that 180 day point.

I've already made my reservations for all of my meals except for one, Bistro de Paris. That one is a 30 day reservation.

So my question is, do I call on the 30th day out from the reservation day, or can I call 30 days before my first day of my visit the WDW? It gives me 7 days more in advance since we've sceduled it for our last day of our vacation.

I'd call at the 30 days from your first date of arrival (ie 37 days) they can only say no and it also saves on disappointment if you call at exactly 30 days to find it full and you could have booked sooner

Would you be kind enough to post the results if you do try calling on the 30 day mark before the first day of your trip please? I have the exact same scenario and would like to know how it goes.

When do you go?

Quick update on this:

I was on the phone with a dine agent and asked her this question. She said that you had to wait until exactly 30 days out for Bistro De Paris. She said that this restaurant, as well as a few at DTD, do not follow the "extra 10 day out" rule for resort guests.

So, I guess it still won't hurt to call and try anyway, but the answer I got was 30 days only.
