Adobe Lightroom 4 now available at 50 percent price drop

Lightroom 4 is now out, $79 for an upgrade or $149 full version.

Just installed my copy actually..and I must say its a step in the right direction. The new Raw engine is FANTASTIC...tho I don't see me getting much use out of the video editing abilities, but I suppose its nice to have it included.

I don't really get why they try to include video. Surely anyone who is using Lightroom and also does video is going to have something a bit more specialized. I guess it doesn't hurt to have some functionality for occasional use.

FYI...If you are a student or a teacher you can actually purchase the software for $58.00. Take a look at

www.bhphotovideo.com . I am sure that if they have it for this price, others will as well. I just know that they do.
