Administrative hiring tips?

How does one get an administrative job here? I’ve been trying, rather unsuccessfully, for a while now. Do I have to start in an hourly park role and move up? Or know someone? Both? Just luck?
Any suggestions?

ETA: I’ve been applying for mostly secretarial jobs, which I’m sure get a massive amount of applications. (Two were with WDI, which I would have killed for.) HR would be perfect, but I have yet to see any entry-level openings.

You have to know someone. Most people make those connections by starting in the parks in an hourly capacity and then networking. There are rare instances of new hires making it in without a pre-existing connection, but rare is the key word there!

I figured it would be something like that. I imagine the rare outside hire is someone who is a very desirable candidate.
