Adjoining Studios at Wilderness Lodge Villas

You can certainly request Studios that are *near* each other, though I'm fairly certain that none of the DVC's have connecting *Studios*. Most Studios are next to (and connect to) 1-bedroom units so they can be combined into 2-bedroom lockoff units.
I know there are a few "standalone" units at Beach Club and Boardwalk that don't connect to anything because of the layout of the building. Because of this there are some places where you have a few units of the same type in a row, but they don't connect to each other. I'm unfamiliar with the layout of VWL, so I don't know if there are such units there.

I would suggest strongly against this request and here is why. On the first floor there are three studio beside each other on the end of the building near WL to the left of the villa lobby area down a hallway from the elevators. There are two beside each other very near the elevators and there are two more to the right of the lobby still near the lobby area of the villas. That is it for studios beside each other on the first floor. Now these might be ideal but probably hard to get.
On the 2nd 3rd and 4th floors, the only studios beside each other are down the long hallway the farthest away from the lobby area at the very end of the building. Two on each side. The side that faces the lake and woods will probably have construction views for quite awhile. The side that faces the resort looks out over a service area and dumpsters, probably the worst view at all of the villas and a long walk down that hallway and now with the quiet pool gone, an even longer walk to the main pool.
I don't think it would be worth taking a chance in getting those two studios even though they are beside each other. You would be much better off taking two studios very far apart from each other than getting this view:

VWL does not have any connecting studios, but there are a limited number of them that are adjacent (next) to another studio. Most of the studios are part of 2-bedroom lock-offs, so you could end up 2 doors (or more away on the same side) or across the hall.
