So despite being a fairly well-informed Disney person, a friend I was helping plan a trip for asked me a question that I wasn't 100% sure of the answer...
We'd been talking about adding days and Park Hopper onto a ticket mid-trip. I had explained that if he wasn't sure if they'll need Park Hopper, they can add it on during the trip. Same thing with additional days. (He's now fairly certain they'll get Hopper to start with) But what I wasn't sure about was what happens when you add multiple options at different times.
So here's the question: When you go to add the WP&M option onto a ticket that *already* has the Park Hopper option on it, do you pay the full price for the WP&M option? Or do you get the discounted price for having both Hopper and Water Park that you'd get when purchasing those options on the ticket up front?
(i.e. will it cost them $63.90 or $27.69 to add Water Parks onto the ticket mid-trip?)
