Also note that you should *use* the tickets to enter a theme park first before you try and add days onto the ticket. This locks in the value of the ticket as its current gate price, not what you may have paid for the ticket to an authorized reseller or if it was purchased before a price increase.
If the price isn't within a few cents of what you expect it to be (from @Master Yoda 's post above) make sure to ask the CM if they're "bridging" the ticket...

And make sure that you don't use them all up first. Upgrade them sometime between after you entered the park on day one and before you leave the park on day five.That is how it should work, but you need to use them first.
