adding days to tickets

We have 5 day park hopper tickets. Would like to know how much adding 2 days onto these would cost. Tried to get through to Disney, but, by golly, they are busy planning vacations for other guests....

Also note that you should *use* the tickets to enter a theme park first before you try and add days onto the ticket. This locks in the value of the ticket as its current gate price, not what you may have paid for the ticket to an authorized reseller or if it was purchased before a price increase.

If the price isn't within a few cents of what you expect it to be (from @Master Yoda 's post above) make sure to ask the CM if they're "bridging" the ticket...

So I will pay the current price for upgrades versus the price I paid for the tickets over a year ago for the extra days, correct?

That is how it should work, but you need to use them first.

Correct. If you add the days before using the ticket, you will most liekly only get the value of what you paid (or possibly the even-lesser value of what the *reseller* paid) for the ticket. They'd use that value in calculating the price difference between what you have and what you want. But if you use the ticket first, it locks in the "what you have" value to be the current gate price. It's a quirk of the WDW ticketing system that actual benefits the Guest.

That is how it should work, but you need to use them first.

And make sure that you don't use them all up first. Upgrade them sometime between after you entered the park on day one and before you leave the park on day five.
