Adding days to a 10 day park hopper

Does anyone know with all of the changes to the tickets if you add days to your already maxed out 10 days before you leave and how much it is? We have done this before, stayed for 11 days, added 1 day to hopper at guest services within the first few days and I couldn't believe how cheap it was to add the one day. I have heard on other blogs, you pay full price now for additional days no discount is given. Do you know if this is true and how much for 1 or 2 days more?

AFAIK you can't add days to a 10-day park ticket because that's the maximum amount a ticket can hold. If you need more than that the only solution is to buy a AP or a second set of tickets.

I don't think they go higher than ten days. I'm not sure! But I've never heard or seen a ticket with more days.

You might look into an AP. if you eat a lot of meals at Disney, you get want to get TiW, too. AP hotel discounts and TIW always served me better than any disney package.

And if you plan another trip before your AP expires, that's more free ticket days!! :)

Thanks to both of you. I finally called Disney and they said I would have to buy addtional days at regular price. Yikes it's like $90.00 per day for one park. I had her check on the annual passes it it was ALOT more that way. We live in Arizona so we only come out once a year so no benefit of buying AP's. So we'll save the two extra days for resort hopping at christmas and maybe the bar crawl. Thanks again for your help.

They do sell longer tickets to some European guests, but a 10 day ticket is the longest you can buy at the parks/in the US. Anything longer requires either a second ticket (already expensive as you found out) or an AP.
