Adding days onto existing tickets

I have two days left on a ticket that was a 10 day no-expiration. I understand that more days could be added to existing tickets; is that still true? Does anyone know whether it is more cost-effective to do so vs getting another 10 day no-expiration. We tend to take annual 3 day trips so the 10 day was the best plan, but not sure about moving forward....

You can not add days to a 10 day ticket or extend any other ticket past a total of 10 days. For example, let say you had a 4 day ticket. The most you could ever add to that ticket is 6 days.

I never heard of adding days to a 10 day ticket because that is the max days allowable on a ticket....The only thing I think you could do would be change it to an annual pass maybe ? But not sure when it would expire...

The OP said they only take 3-day trips, once a year. So an AP wouldn't be a good value for them. A new 10-day with No Expiration would be the best option. But didn't I hear that they're doing away with the No Expiration option?

That was the rumor when it was removed from the online choices, but it can still be purchased at the parks. What I was told was that quite a few people were mistakenly getting the "no expiration" option when they purchased online and were then asking for a refund.

Unless you take frequent, shorter trips - the No Expiration option doesn't even pay. It's the initial cost (especially up to/including 3-day tickets) that's the steepest, thus the savings there. After 4, 5 days especially - tacking on days is cake (and cheap). There's no "free lunch" anymore.

As for the No Expiration option, yeah... It's no longer available online. In person (at the gate or concierge) or on the phone only now.

Undercover tourist still has the no expirations available.

Given how quickly the prices are going up, I'm inclined to book now. The last time I bought the 10d park hopper no expiration, the 10 days were $55/day ($550 total). Now it's $72/day. I remember a friend adding on days for ~$50/day 2-3 yrs ago, but I'd guess prices for that have gone up too.

But for our next 3d trip, the park hopper would be $334/3days ($111/day). That's painful!

And thanks for the info!
