Adding a day ticket/fastpass question

I already purchased two 6-day e-tickets and need to purchase two more, however will be adding a day our trip. For the final two tickets, I will buy 7-day tickets. I will be adding 1 day to the two e-tickets we already bought once we get to Disney (I cannot do it until then because we bought these through undercovertourist).

My questions are:

1) If I make fastpass selections for the 7th day for the two 7-day tickets in our party, is there any way to piggyback onto those reservations for the other two tickets once we add a day? Or is it completely up to availability?

2) Will my name need to be on one of the 7-day tickets in order to make FP selections for that 7th day if our My Disney Experience account is under my name? I would rather keep the 7-day tickets in my kids' names if we can't all be on the same FPs for that 7th day.

1) It is totally subject to availability. Choose which day is least important to you in terms of FPs. So maybe you’re planning a second day at MK, then on one day you try and get 7dmt, Splash and Space. On the second day you book FPs for those with 7 day tickets for say HM, Pirates and Buzz. Those will be easier to get nearer the time.

2) If you are all linked in MDE and are all on the same reservation then you should be able to book FPs for them at your 60 day window.
I’m not totally sure what happens under the new system if you are on separate reservations. I think it would still be OK but I’d hate to say yes and be wrong.

When you add the extra days to those 2 tickets, go to Guest Services and ask if they can copy the fast passes from the rest of your party to you - for most attractions they should be able, based on availability of course, however, they may not be able to for 7DMT, FOP, and SDD.

Thank you both for the great suggestions. We will aim for less popular attractions on that 7th day and ask about copying FPs.
