Activating AP at Ocala Disney Welcome Center

Has anyone recently (within the past few months) activated their annual pass voucher at the Ocala Disney/AAA Welcome Center off of I-75???

I am thinking about doing this in order to avoid any type of delay once I get into "the world". I'm sure you know what I mean!

Does anyone know what time they close in June? We'll be driving through on a Friday evening.

You cannot activate a pass there.

You can buy an activated pass (I believe you still can - not even sure about that), but you have never been able to actually turn in a voucher there.

Activating an AP at WDW is very easy. You can go to ANY ticket window and do it - you don't need to go to guest services or anything.

For years my wife and I waited in the awful lines at the guest relations window when activating our passes. A couple of years ago the lady activating them was kind enough to tell us ANY window can do it and now we don't dread it!

Yes, The Welcome center still has the AP pass but, the Disney Stores do not. I bought a AP pass at the welcome center on May 19, 2005.

Well, we have had some problems getting them activated. It ended up taking like 20 minutes because the attendant had no idea what to do and was reallly rude. Good Luck!!!
