? about O'Hana character breakfast

I am taking my 9 y/o daughter to disney for a weekend to see Cirque and I was thinking about doing the character breakfast at O'Hana. Is it worth it? Is the food OK? My daughter is very picky and I was wondering if it was possible to request items like cereal or pancakes that do not automatically come? I know there are other buffet breakfasts that may be better suited to us, but I just thought it would be fun to try this since we have never done it before.

Thanks,

Trishnh

if I recall correctly, its a family style setting---eggs, bacon, waffles etc, brought to the table and you serve yourself.
it was nice seeing all the characters in hawaiian themed attire.

but, i think the character breakfast i had at the GF was a bit nicer, but then again, 1-it was at the GF and 2-if was my first character meal. so thats a bit biased.

but either way, the food was enjoyable

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. She likes waffles so it just may work. I will have to check out what they have at the GF. I still may do my all time favorite, Cape May Cafe.

i think there is more of a variety (of food) at Chef Mickey's. Its like a buffet and you can choose what you want (including pancakes if i remember correctly) and they also have cereal and fruits and stuff. I like chef mickey's better in general than either Polynesian or GF.
