Has anyone seen any of the new abc shows, I just saw That was Then and that show was awsome I can't wait for next weeks episode. And 8 simple rule for dating my teenage daughters, that is a preety good show to. And George Lopez looks like it could make a good run. But I think abc is back to its prime telivision days, does anyone else think this.

I liked That Was Then too. I hope it isn't done in by it's Friday night slot. Unfortunately, ABC is nowhere close to it's competition, yet. They have a lot of work to do, if the numbers indicate how the fall season is going to go. Push Nevada is getting crushed on Thursdays, although nothing really has a shot in that time slot right now.

Oh, and according to that article, That Was Then lost 6 million viewers from it's lead-in.... America's Funniest Home Videos?! Are you freakin' kidding me? America's Funniest Home Videos?? I can't believe, not only that it is still on, but people will watch this but not That Was Then or Push. A sad commentary on the American public.

Not only do people watch it, but it is cheap for ABC to produce.

I think 8 Simple Rules and Life with Bonnie will be the only shows that will make it on to next season. ABC needs to re-create shows like Boy meets world and Home Improvement.

LoL 8 Simple Rules for Dating my Daughter cracks me up, John Ritter is a great actor.

I just saw the season premiere of Smallville, now I'm hooked on that. Only thing I really watch is The Shield though.

Not too many hits

Sad to say, ABC's premiere week (Sept. 23-29) didn't have too many shows that scored big in the ratings, only 1 show made it into the top 20, Monday Night Football. I hope ABC can start to turn around soon-- especially since Monday Night Football is only on for about half a season.

1. (1) "Friends," NBC, 20.3, 21.7 million homes.

2. (2) "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," CBS, 18.2, 19.4 million homes.

3. (3) "ER," NBC, 16.9, 18.0 million homes.

4. (X) "Everybody Loves Raymond," CBS, 15.3, 16.3 million homes.

5. (4) "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Miami," CBS, 14.9, 16.0 million homes.

6. (5) "Everybody Loves Raymond," CBS, 14.7, 15.7 million homes.

7. (6) "Frasier," NBC, 14.1, 15.1 million homes.

8. (7) "Will & Grace," NBC, 13.9, 14.8 million homes.

9. (8) "Scrubs," NBC, 13.8, 14.7 million homes.

10. (9) "NFL Monday Night Football: St. Louis at Tampa Bay," ABC, 12.5, 13.4 million homes.

11. (10) "Survivor: Thailand," CBS, 12.3, 13.1 million homes.

12. (11) "West Wing," NBC, 12.0, 12.9 million homes.

13. (12) "Good Morning Miami," NBC, 11.8, 12.6 million homes.

14. (13) "JAG," CBS, 10.8, 11.6 million homes.

15. (14) "Without a Trace," CBS, 10.7, 11.4 million homes.

16. (15) "Law and Order: Criminal Intent," NBC, 10.6, 11.3 million homes.

17. (16) "Hidden Hills," NBC, 10.5, 11.2 million homes.

18. (17) "Law and Order: Special Victim's Unit," NBC, 10.3, 11.0 million homes.

19. (19) "The Guardian," CBS, 9.6, 10.2 million homes.

19. (19) "Yes, Dear," CBS, 9.6, 10.3 million homes.

Isn't Push, Nevada on Thursday?

That means going up against hit shows on both NBC and CBS.

NBC: Friends, Scrubs, Will and Grace, Good Morning, Miami and ER. That's 3 hit shows, followed by a new show that's sandwiched between major hits (especially in season debuts).

CBS: Survivor, CSI, Without a Trace. Survivor means big ratings, CSI was one of the top 5 shows for last year, Without a Trace is from the same producers of CSI.

I'm not trying to defend Push, Nevada. I blame ABC because they put it up against an extremely tough lineup. There is no way that Push is going to win against these two networks on this night. Right now, I don't see anywhere on Monday-Thursday where Push could flourish except maybe on Monday before MNF.

I agree completely. Putting Push on Thursday is murder. What they should do is put it on a less competitive night-like Friday ( ican never seem to find anything to watch Fridays) and let it build a following. Then perhaps consider moving it to Thursdays. With a show that's getting so much positive feedback, ABC can't afford to make scheduling mistakes.

Push would be interesting to watch but Freinds and Scrubs are up against it. Less Than Perfect is a good show too along with 8 simple rules and life with bonnie

I think the problem with ABC and premier week is that most tv watchers are more likely to tune into the season premiers of the more popular shows, like Friends, CSI, adn West Wing. ABC is turing out all these new shows, and viewers are more likely to watch something they "trust" (they know its good already), like these shows. I mean, ABC wasn't to big on the Emmy list this year. It won't be until people start reading reviews about the new shows for them to decide wether or not to watch the show. I'd say wait for a few more show episodes to pass to see if they are working or not.
