ABC Digs Another Celebrity Mole

ABC has ordered up seven hour-long episodes of the Stone Stanley Entertainment-produced unscripted hit, Celebrity Mole, with casting set to begin immediately. The series is being targeted for either a summer or fall bow.
Variety says Ahmad Rashad is expected to return as host, while Clay Newbill -- who produced the first two editions of The Mole as well as The Bachelorette -- is set to serve as showrunner.
The first incarnation of "Mole" proved to be a solid fit behind ABC's Bachelorette. The series gave ABC its best adults 18-34 numbers in the 10 p.m. Wednesday slot in six years.
While the stars in the first celeb edition of "Mole" weren't huge names, Stone said their backgrounds helped make the show work.
