ABC 2004 Fall TV schedule

ABC announced their new schedule for the fall tv season today and I am dissappointed b/c Life with Bonnie was cancelled, and I was really pulling for that show to stay b/c, tho uneven, it is a refreshingly funny show with some great ad-libbed moments. Too bad it never found an acceptable audience. And too bad Kelly Ripa's "horribly inappropriate for families" Hope&Faith did...

All other freshman shows have been cancelled, and 8 Simple Rules moved to Fridays to start TGIF. ABC has the most new shows coming on, with 11 I think the number was.

Too bad! I agree SURFSUPDON!

"Life with Bonnie" was the only ABC show TiVO was programmed to catch each week!

"Life with Jim" and "Hope and Faith" are unwatchable to me....I can't even name any others.

Oh well, with any luck at least one or two of the other 11 has a chance of succeeding.

I loved Life with Bonnie! I think they've been trying to kill it since it premired! I hate 8 Simple Rules now...it's stupid. Hope & Faith is pretty good...I used to watch George Lopez, but not really anymore...

We're never going to know if Bonnie and Co. succeed with the new pizza restaurant, or if David can finally move back into his house. Geesh!!


What's annoying is that ABC and thus, TVGuide, billed the show as having its "season finale" as opposed to a series finale, and therefore the writers and cast assumed another season, as did the loyal fans. It was a genuine family show.


I bet that a retro rerun night of fan favorite episodes of Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step, and Boy Meets World would beat the current new TGIF shows. Now that would be a fun night.
